La Ferme de Gicon Côtes du Rhône 2005

Established at the bottom of feudal Castle of Gicon, which dominates all the Rhône Valley thanks to its medieval towers, the Ferme de Gicon, administered during several centuries by the Benedictine monks, surrounded the Seigniorial vineyard.

The Ferme is situated at the height of a sunny terroir, made up gravelly hillsides and pebbles, which quality of wines is recognized since 1737 by an Edit of Louis XV.

Planted in Grenache Noir and Syrah, associated with Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Carignan, this vineyard produces a wine with spices and mature fruit aromas, with well-matured tannins, supple that revealed pepper notes.
