A regular "Tastings" column titled "Charting the 'Sideways' Effect" included the Sipino Pinot Noir on their Dow Jones Index of Inexpensive Pinot Noirs. The wine was described as "Interesting. It starts with lots of juicy blackberries, but then turns slightly viney and herbal, in a good, true way. Very drinkable, but also complex enough to hold interest."
